Privacy & email
What we store
If you join the email list, we store your email address, subscription status, confirmation token, and signup time. For confirmed subscribers we also record which daily emails have been sent, to avoid duplicates.
Your puzzle answers
Your answers and scratchpad stay in this page’s temporary memory. They are not submitted to our server and are cleared when you leave or switch puzzles. No advertising analytics or tracking pixels are added by Think in Odds.
Puzzle activity
We measure visits, answer attempts, successful checks, hint and solution reveals, sharing, and signup submissions. A random browser identifier lets us count repeat visits; it is separate from your email address. We store the event type, puzzle number, edition day, time, and a campaign label from a fixed list. We do not store your answer, scratchpad, full referring URL, or IP address in this activity table. These counts describe browser activity, not verified people or exam results.
Measurement is optional and respects Global Privacy Control. Turning it off stops future activity collection on this browser and removes its local measurement identifier.
Email delivery
Daily email delivery is being set up. Joining now saves your address on a launch list. When delivery is ready, we will send a confirmation invitation. We send daily puzzles only after you explicitly confirm. Delivery uses Resend, which receives your email address and message content.
Unsubscribing
Every daily email includes an unsubscribe link. We retain an unsubscribed status to prevent accidental resubscription. You can request removal by replying to an email once delivery is live.
